  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Tsubasa Chronicle - Move Along

Post by Kazemon15 » Wed Jan 16, 2008 3:35 am

I made this a month ago but wasnt able to put it up until now due to my Adobe problems. The quality is a little low, but still watchable. It's an attempt for a more lighthearted fun video.

Love this song.

Getting.

EDIT: Congrats, you have been chosen to demonstrate my commitment to a more well-rounded review session. I find that you have some issues with established standards, and your sync needs to be tightened in many places because they effect your narrative coherency, however your editing work clearly shows you have technical skill, and just need help moving that skill into line with your story driven, emotionally motivated expression. I'll either dump a large essay style analysis into this thread or link you to a new one after I discuss it with quadir.

Thanks for checking it out. Heh sorry for the beats being off, it's hard to hear them since I am hard of hearing. This video was just a fun way to unwind from stress and it turned out good so I decided to upload it on the org. ^^ I hope you liked it, thanks for your time.

Comments after work...

Edit:

You certainly have a beautiful editing style. I really like how you make subtle changes to the visuals during a series of beats. Nice work!

Hey, not bad. I was considering using this song ...it would of been cool if you masked the characters singing like they do in the music video. But it was pretty good, could of done without the B&W and all the zooms. Fades would of been just as good.
