Well I hate to be blunt about it, but you kinda opened yourself up to one of the harshest groups on the internet... A-M-V.org loves to bash each others videos... why wouldn't they be any different for someone's music?

do you understand music theory?
they (DP) uses four-chord progressions with distortion pedals just like 80+% of the artists you see on television or hear on the radio. they are laughable.

i'm not trying to be an indie-elitist bastard and i realize that minor keys in 12-note patterns with harmonizing instruments playing major and # variants (BY ONE PERSON) may not be for everyone, but don't ever pretend to know anything about music to anyone when giving an opinion concerning sound, okay?

Oh yes, it might be a b-class band and not "good music" but it is good amv music (even if what you make with it is complete shit, it is). Why? Let the bodies hit the fucking floor! Oh, joy. Actually I wouldn't have normally used this song and this is probably my worst amv of the year, my cousin actually chose this song and she wanted me to make the amv to show her how premiere works in a day. But seriously, the fact that you don't like that song and don't believe it to be "good music" doesn't mean no one should. Or do you expect to change everyone's music tastes to your liking?

Concerning instrumental (like yours) music, try to compare how "good for an amv" this is compared to your song? Better music, better atmosphere, more feeling, less repetivity. You need all of those (atmosphere is optional but it adds). My opinion of course.
