Anyone going to attend this Con? I was a little bummed because I didn't see an AMV contest this time but it appears Pwolf will be hosting a panel so that should be cool to see.
I'll be there with my Nikon so there should be pictures to share.

Hmmm...don't know what all the, "crown-and-cape" is about but it should be fun.
I always believed the panel dialogue was scripted by the presentation host. Does the audience lose interest when you start talking about the nuts-and-bolts of a well-made AMV?yea... Except i hope i'll actually do some more talking and not just show random videos. It might end up like that though, lol...

Well, last year, no one showed up >.> Combination of miscommunication and other events. So i pretty much just started showing random videos i wanted to show. Eventually some people showed up and all i really did was answer a few questions and show videos. Most of the people there just wanted to see videos anyway.
What i'm going to do this year, hopefully with a larger audience, is talk briefly about what an amv is, what type of software and equipment you use, and then just show videos and take questions. I was planning on bringing my computer with me to show some editing but I only have 1 hour and for an "intro to" type panel, i don't think i should get too technical.
One idea for a later con is to do an Intro to AMVs panel one day and then do an Advanced panel later where i can skip the basics and go right into the guts of it all. might have to wait for SacAnime to get a little larger though.
Since you plan on going, is there anything you would like me to go over?
