Thank you for replies!
I'm really happy that you liked it! :)

Some comments to your comments ;)

I fully agree :D Most comments I got on our polish AMV board were just like Yarry's - nice mood, generally beautiful but boring as hell ;D
mirkosp wrote:And, about the mistakes in the transitions... didn't notice anything... and I watched it 3 times already.
Heheh, that's good :D I'm a perfectionist, you know :P The one I detected is around 4:32 (transition between the girls' face and forest). The one last frame in this transition is too dark and it corrupts the flow of the transition ;D
servo101010 wrote:My only complaint is that some of the fades used were a little fast for comfort and pace. In the future, don't be afraid to either extend the dissolve, or simply use a hard cut
If I could, I would make dissolves long as longcat ;) But you know, some scenes were too short for this. Of course I could make still frames and animate them with motion for example (like I did many times), but it wouldn't work with scenes with moving objects. And if I slowed them down, they would look unnatural.

Hard cuts are out of the question. Not in this kind of project.
I rly liek Pokemanz and so should you.

Hum, nice work in the whole but a little too slow for me I guess. The song fits perfectly with the anime, and the scene selection is pretty good, but, yeah, too slow.

3,5/5 :)

The anime didn't really do it for me, but this video certainly did.

Very relaxing and moody. Beautiful editing too :)

The fitting of the scenes to the music was also nice.
Good work ^_-

What was that? An ambient new age AMV?

I gotta say it was technically very smooth. The fades never got boring and the overlays and masks on the second half of the video were really cool~ So, very nice sense of flow you had there. Also, it was good that it was more fast-paced than you'd think when you hear the song (or ambient noise, whatever..) The pacing helped it carry on, keeping your attention at the same time.

But I must say it was a little boring.... There wasn't much content but pretty artwork and landscapes. The song wasn't so exciting either. Something you could hear on a movie soundtrack or in a zoo or something  But as the video went on some people came in for the second half of the video, which really filled some of the empty space in your vid. It wasn't just about eye-candy and atmosphere anymore~ Anyway, I still feel like your effort and talent on this video was pretty much wasted on your minimalistic concept. Maybe it's just my liking or something, but I really feel like this was just a ghost of a video..

Hehe, I like your description :) Yeah, it can be considered as an ambient AMV I think :)
There wasn't much content but pretty artwork and landscapes.
That was the main idea in the beginning, but I decided to add more "life" (people, the idea of the Cup) to make it a bit more interesting and watchable :P

I don't agree with you. This kind of tunes give me a lot thrills of excitement, it's like different kind of musical experience. You've got to calm yourself down, listen to the sounds, hear the beautiful notes mixing with each other.

Well, it's a matter of taste, I guess :)
But as the video went on some people came in for the second half of the video, which really filled some of the empty space in your vid. It wasn't just about eye-candy and atmosphere anymore~
Apart from beginning and end, I tried to divide the video into two main parts:

1. The life in it's pure form - that means Earth, plants and some weather phenomenons
2. Another point of view - the human life. Moments of joy, sorrow, hope, longing, birth and death

:)
Anyway, I still feel like your effort and talent on this video was pretty much wasted on your minimalistic concept. Maybe it's just my liking or something, but I really feel like this was just a ghost of a video..
It ended just like I wanted it to. For me, it's perfect :)

JCD, Falconone, Kael_, Naizashi - glad to hear you like it :)
Dark-Krystal - tastes... ;)

And i loved the song, is all of their music like that?

Great job.

Pretty much, especially tunes released under 'Mosaik' handle (this musician has 4 different handles ^^)

Here's his website: http://www.mosaik.se

I'm glad you like both the video and music :)
