Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 HELP

This is a great video editing program, and so far I have been able to figure out the basic transistions and Video FX. But it's all so confusing. Does anybody know where I can find a GOOD and BASIC guide that will help me with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 for AMV editing? I searched Google, and I found nothing. I searched Youtube, and I couldn't find any video that are for Pro. Please help me. I'm so clueless. Thanks!

firstly, its a bit of a tall order asking people to respond within a 6 minute time frame, not everyone camps out the forums 24/7 to specifically help every problem someone has.

but the best answer i can come up with off the top of my head is the guide stickied in this forum. its a GOOD and BASIC guide for vegas (not just vegas 8 its generic for all of them) you may need to adapt a few of the things in there, but it pretty much covers all the basics. from there you pick up new stuff by trial and error, or by asking about specific problems generally

your sig is too tall you should check the org <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=289">Forum Rules</a> to make sure it's a good size
