Well, there some episodes where SHAFT pretty much fudged up the lip-sync (I forgot which one specifically, but they were pretty noticeable) so it's pretty much moot point. Also, don't underestimate the English VAs! Given the right cast and voice director, they can pull some pretty amazing stuff that can be on par or *gasp* surpass the Japanese VAs.

I don't know if the English VAs could ever surpass the Japanese VAs.Imo,the original is always better.Mainly because of the translation and the voice acting are most fitting more fitting. And because after watching the japanese version,it feels damn awkard to hear the english dub.angelx03 wrote:Well, there some episodes where SHAFT pretty much fudged up the lip-sync (I forgot which one specifically, but they were pretty noticeable) so it's pretty much moot point. But it's not like I'm gonna buy any of them...

I couldn't be arsed changing anything, but this is what I meantFull Metal Sempai wrote:I don't know if the English VAs could ever surpass the Japanese VAs.Imo,the original is always better.Mainly because of the translation and the voice acting are most fitting more fitting. And because after watching the japanese version,it feels damn awkard to hear the english dub.

Also, I'd be lucky if they even sold it down here in NZ

.. if Magna Corp. does the translations then the lip-syncing will match .. otherwise, why bother!Pas1990 wrote:I couldn't be arsed changing anything, but this is what I meantFull Metal Sempai wrote:I don't know if the English VAs could ever surpass the Japanese VAs.Imo,the original is always better.Mainly because of the translation and the voice acting are most fitting more fitting. And because after watching the japanese version,it feels damn awkard to hear the english dub.

I just watched this and must say, I'm impressed. I think it's been at least a couple of months since I was able to watch the whole anime in one day (12-13 episodes long anime that is). I wished they had done a bit more than 2 couples' stories, since there were 4 in the game, right? Then again, that might've been too much for this number of episodes...
As for the animation and effects, it was really well done, but the sky scenes awfully remind me of Aurora Sky effect in AE. So I need to hear it from someone who knows it better than me, just to confirm it. Really curious about that thing =O
