Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Dead Boys Don't Cry

What an outrageous lie. Of course they cry, looking back on a life that once seemed to go on forever - and when fear and anger are gone, all that's left is bittersweet nostalgia...
Sometimes I too feel this nostalgia, and then before my eye I see that boy staring back at me, he who once made my days a little happier. Just like that time he's gone now, dead as can be.
But for a moment, we looked back together, looked back on passion and pain and the once naturally feeling that it all would never end...
Dead boys do cry. But their cries remain in silence...

Since I am really new to this, I'd be more than thankful if you people could leave me some comments on what's good about my video and what I have to do better next time.
Thanks!

If you´re looking for feedback or ops, postin it in the announcement thread is never a bad idea. However if you´re looking for critics just go here and make an op exchange with some people.

I would watch it, but I´m not in college right now and at home my bandwith for internet is limited. Sry.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:

It was a decent video... didn't really click with me, but very dramatic. However, for anyone looking at technicals it's a nightmare (luckily I don't care for that stuff -_-). I'm assuming you know all that I'd say, this doesn't look like your average 'tube video, but

In the end, I enjoyed the video (wasn't a complete waste of time)... wouldn't watch it again though, there's so many like it and it just didn't click with me (don't know the anime, not a fan of nightwish, nothing spectacular about the amv/ concept).

Thank you for watching it. I know that the quality - let's face it - SUCKS, well, what can I expect if all that still exists of the series are some VHS-rips (indeed, dead as can be). Another problem seems to be that only very few people know the series; for me it's important childhood memories, for you pretty decent stuff.
Well, I'll stop naggin' around now and invest the time in making new videos
