Filezilla

I've been using CuteFTP for my past uploads, but alas, it has expeired and I can no longer seem to use it any longer, so I downloaded Filezilla, but after that I'm at a loss as to how to use it. The only options I see for the server is "start server" and "stop server" and when I click, "Start server" nothing happens. I believe it is active now, but there isn't a window that pops help. Anyone able to help, or tell me another good server or a way to get back the cuteFTP?

What you downloaded was the server software that lets you set up an FTP, not the client software that lets you access FTPs.

If you want, you can try SmartFTP. It's works pretty well for me. I don't think smartftp ever really 'expired' on me since I'm still able to use it even after a few years of installing it.
