Ok then
well i didnt really think this would be a big deal, but, i would like the song this addiction for the amv(unless another song strikes a chord with anyone, which in that case you are free to do whatever you want with any of it.) and as far as the legal stuff goes, i really dont give a crap! im not selling it, im not turning any profit of any kind and if anything i am advertising the anime more. even though i am positive it doesn't need in considering i am a HUGE fan of the show myself. I see no harm in it. i came here because i lack the talent to make the videos that you do( some people say it is simple, but i can tell the people who really put a lot of time and effort into creating something thats theirs, even if it is the product of another production). so what i am asking for is help to create something together. i would really like to see this video made. and i am not asking for people to come along and tell me the problems with my idea, because i dont care about anything legal. thank you very much, and i really hope someone that is interested contacts me, like i said before, i really want to see this video made.

That's all well and good for you to say, but if someone else is making it, it's their ass on the line if you try to promote the thing because they made it, not you.

You do realize you will probably be sued for this right? If you use this to advertise your band companies will notice. Either Viz Media, TV Tokyo, or Studio Periott will sue you. You just cant use someone else's property without asking.
Granted your band probably doesnt have a label so nobody'll probably even notice anyway.

for one you are right. they would probably sue me, if i were to sell it and distribute it, but if it is for private viewing and nobody is making any money off of it, it should not be a problem. even if they did sue they would sue for royalties considering that only a portion of the production is theirs I.E. the video portion. This will not be used for marketing of any kind, only exposure of my band plus i personally would like this made. and as for using bleach, have you noticed how many bleach videos there are on youtube and other sites? they are using these sites to promote bleach. animes biggest sales come from merchandise, not the show itself and the makers of bleach realize this. how many other animes have been up to episodes in the 150's to watch for free? i have no worries of being sued, or any other legal consequences that apply. i think if anything i would be tributing, and promoting a show that i really like. i have one question, this is an anime music video site, how do all of you that make these get away with using other peoples music and video?? do you pay royalties? do you ask permission before starting the project? do you get the green light to use such and such song for such and such anime? if not you would be violating more copyright and trademark laws than i ever will considering i personally own, and have copyrighted in my name the music that will be used. thats my argument, i have plenty more answers for anyone that would like to comment on how i cant do this, but again what i really want is to have this video made. anyone that is interested please contact me.
