Im sure many people here have seen Adult Swin and have seen the promos for the short film Rejected to show sunday on Adult Swin, well guess what? THE BASTARDS AT THE CARTOON NETWORK REJECTED REJECTED! THEY CANCELED ITS SHOWING!!!! not because of some language!! not because of the blood or content!!! BUT BECAUSE OF THE LINE THAT SAY "SWEET JESUS!!!" those bastards at the CN thought that its just too SOMETHING that it cant be shown! they wanted to edit it out but the creator Don Hertfeild refused that the CN should cencore it so they simply pulled it from its spot sunday 2 day before it aired. DAMN YOU CN!!!! Rejected is the most funny short film anyone will ever see in there entire lives!!!! AND YOU PULLED IT!!!

Perhaps no one has been paying attention to the madness that exists within broadcast television here in the US.
The writers of Batman the Animated series were under a ton of rules they they had to follow. They could only have a maximum of X acts of violence in the show... and one of the things listed under what counts as an act of violence is
"Breaking Glass"
That means if a character drops a glass... or someone steps on glasses... or someone is thrown through a window...
these are all ACTS OF VIOLENCE
The Corporates behind Televised animation still believe and market animation for BOYS ages 6 - 12
IF you are a girl, or a boy over the age of 12, you don't watch animation.
This is why Escaflowne was so MANGLED... it was edited for the approval of BOYS ages 6 - 12.
An EXEC was asked how the show tested with girls ages 6 - 12 and the exec said "Girls don't watch cartoons."
The TOONAMI people at Cartoon Network are at odds with the rest of the people in charge of Cartoon Network who want NO ANIMATION, and NO TOONAMI... and just want Cartoon Network to be a place where they can rehash old cartoons only.
I can already imagine that the People who wanted REJECTED to be on Cartoon Network were forced to make this sacrifice so they might be able to win other battles somewhere else (like getting more anime on the air)
We live in a country where certain parent groups argued against Disney for releasing Kiki's Delivery Service... they said it was bad for children because the main character was a witch.
I tell you... there are a lot of people who think that because they have corporate and financial success... they think that means they are smart...
but when I look at the crap that has been done by EXECUTIVES, I just wish we could gather them all up and drop them like bombs onto our nation's enemies.
I could go on and on and on and on about things that have sucked because of executives
(Like Alien 3 - where Execs eliminated the creator of Alien and Aliens from his own series of films
Like Birds of Prey - where the whole comic the series was supposed to be based on was thrown out so we could have that unspeakable piece of crap that seems to meet the approval of brain dead execs
Like the massacred version of Escaflowne and Card Captor Sakura... and you don't even want to know about "Ursala's Kiss"... and you can e-mail me and ask... but I won't go on about that hell...
And the chopped up version of RETURN OF THE JOKER, which might have been the only version we would have ever seen
Or The Exec at Paramount who stated to Ralph Bakshi that "Adults don't watch animation!")
Anyway... just wanted to throw in my thoughts.

There are two kinds of people in this world:
Those who divide people into two kinds of groups
and those who don't.
