You can use <b>ChangeFPS</b> to convert the frame rate by inserting duplicate frames, or <b>ConvertFPS</b> to convert the frame rate by way of frame blending. Both functions will keep the duration the same (to the nearest frame, of course) and not touch the audio at all, so timing issues should be negligible.

alright I'll try those options (I usually use assumefps which I thought screwed it up after I had a frame rate promblem on a gravion video).
Thanks for the assist ;) I haven't used those avs options before.

I'm still interested in knowing the answers to my other questions.
