Though, most of these have been quite various concept-wise. Look at Otihiko's, then look at Malcifus's, then look at Miss Sakura-San's. At least they have different concepts, so I really don't think they're that much overused.

Not yet at least. Though there are a few curveballs, the majority of them just have a similar feel. Of course, part of the reason in that case is the lack of footage.

hmmm I guess people mean over used scenes

I say hell if you can place the scene in the right place on the track...more power to ya ^.^ but...I really prefer people taking scenes and using them differently (changing them a bit or how they are used). Just be more creative in general..

back to the subject at hand what Godix said X2 with the exception of the evangelion part, I still hate those videos and it only took seeing 3 of them to make me feel that way.

also.. I mean, this is probably the obvious, cliche, overheard response, but hey. That's what I'm here for, but...

if you are tired of an anime being used in AMVs.. don't bitch about it, just don't watch 'em.

I mean, I know you can't know if you'll like the vid regardless unless you watch it, but wait untill a lot of people say good things about it before wanting to take the plunge and whatnot.

Actually, I meant take a look at their concepts. I assumed you'd seen them. I was comparing Otihikio's Comedy, Malifus's Upbeat and MSS's Drama. I was just trying to point out that while it's used often, it is used in unique ways.

Hmm, let's see... I really haven't used most of those. I guess that could be considered a good thing. Here's what I have used:

Sailor Moon
- 2 MEP segments
- a couple clips in a multi-anime AMV (about 10 seconds total)

Cardcaptor Sakura
- 1 full AMV
- part of a multi-anime AMV (about a third of the length)
