AMV:s has reached the academic world

Today at class I was shown a video about copyright wich was uploaded on www.ted.com, how interesting as it now was its not the point of my post, it is the fact that an AMV was shown in it as an example of youths creativity. Since this is the greatest forum dedicated to AMV:s I found it to be a ideal place to share my delight of having an Stanford Professor in Law having shown an AMV during a conference.

And as a sidequestion, wich AMV was it? I'm very interested in downloading it and have it in my collection (wich has quite a few of you users creations^^).

We have no edit button. And we know about Lessing's work, and are grateful for it.

I believe quadir posted the links the the amvs in question here a few weeks ago, it should still be on the first or second page.

Also Dr. Susan Napier (one of my professors at UT Austin) has used AMVs, and anime in general for a few years now.

Actually, I'm doing a little experiment of my own. We have a creative assigment for my AP English class, where we must incorporate digital media to create the theme for the book Frankenstein or Dr. Faustus. So, Ima going to make an AMV (along with a beautifully colored photoshop drawing^_^). I was reluctant at first, but i'm going to use Fruits Basket, and all the people in the class like anime, so I think that I'll be ok. I'll post the results later. ^_^

Easy. They don't. ^_^

I plan on going with the whole "Hanna = Evil Mastermind Faust" and has all the little zodiac animals as Faust's demons, and she corrupts Tohru and the world into a realm of darkness. I plan on hosting it to the site when it's done, but I have about a month to do it, and i'm in no hurry.
