ULEAD 10 taking more than a day to burn a DVD!

Anyone please help me with this problem?

I use ULEAD 10 to covert and burn AVI files to DVDs. It was always a slow process, usually taking two or three hours for an hour's worth of program.

Now it's taking more than a day.

I've tried deleting all the codecs and clearing out all the old audio, video, and picture files in ULEAD.

Has anyone else had this problem?
