Iori has BLACK hair, not grey/purple hair goddamn it.

Damnit Iori also needs to look more like a 12yr old, I mean that's how she looks in the manga

Okay, funny story.

First and foremost, I have no idea what I's is about. I have a few issues of JUMP with it, but haven't read them yet.

Anyway, I bought a poster of this hot chick giving "peace" in a green T-shirt against a forest-like background. It's probablly my favorite poster. I didn't know it was from anything though, I thought it was just a random picture.

So when I was in Japan in June, I was in Kouchi City's Aeon Shopping Center's bookstore. While filing through the standard shelves.....upon shelves.....upon shelves....of manga, I suddenly saw the pcture from my poster.

"Oh look, my poster." I thought, and continued walking. .78 seconds later my brain went, "wait a sec......THAT'S MY POSTER!"

Turns out my poster was a replication of the tankuban cover. Dunno which volume it was, hopefully someone will know. It wasn't number 1 and I didn't buy too many because I stocked up on One Piece and Inu Yasha.

I came home and flippped through JUMP and chuckled a bit. Looks like a cute series!!! Synopsis anyone?

Well the manga is good up until boredom zone of Volume 4.

I guess it would be okay if I was reading these chapters on a montly basis. However if you read through them in one sitting it becomes absurd as to how many things happen that prevent this guy from telling this chick he loves her. It's >_< - ARGH.

You know in the back of your mind that once he tells her he loves her then the manga would lose alot steam and people would probably start to lose interest so there are all these little cliffhangers in the series :\

Actually I think most manga operates this way :p

Yell yeah! That's great news. I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully someone will have it available for import - if the discussions at animeondvd.com are any indication, it may be hard to come by.

Quick nitpick, though. I realize this is extremely petty, but isn't the title written as I''s? I hear that it's pronounced Aizu.

In response to Tsuji Mania's post, http://www.geocities.com/zubkavich/Shrine.html has some links to I''s manga translations. There used to be a site containing a complete set of translated I''s manga scans. I can't seem to find it at the moment. As for a synopsis, I''s is a 15 volume manga which centers around a high school student named Ichitaka and his pursuit of a girl named Iori. Over the course of the manga, a variety of other characters and conflicts are brought into the mix, including a love triangle involving Ichitaka's childhood friend, Itsuki. It's similar to Video Girl Ai but without the sci-fi element.

Thanks dude! Don't the scanlations, I'll read it myself when I buy the set next year, but sounds like the standard boy-girl series eh?

Only 15 volumes? Excellent! That's like 45 bucks! ^_^m Hooray for the power of the dollar over the yen! (apology to all Japanese citizens ^0^)

Again, the lack of an edit option angers me.

"don't need the scanlations" is what it should have read.

Oh by the way, I wasn't aware the Masa kun was the author!!!!!

Just some trivia for DBZ fans, this gentleman invented the concept of Fusion for DBZ.
