Two (2) Questions

OK, here are questions i couldnt find the answers to elsewhere

1) How does this site define "anime"?
I know to some this may seem an obvious question, but in the interest of remaining on topic and apropriate, i'd like it spelled out

2) Where did the word "youtube" come from, and how is it pronounced? (I've been pronounicing it like "book sack") I understand why it is used and totally agree with the reasons, i just wondered why boochsack was chosen as the replacement

I misread that a bit.

From what I heard,the old one Hosatchel was bought,so they chosen Boochsak.
