Lost and Need suggestions on next project

I just bought all the movies of Detective Conan (I love that show) So I have to make an AMV on it, but other than that I am completely lost. I have been watching a lot of contest winning AMVs, looking the direction I should put the next AMV in, but I'm still empty handed. In all of the movies they are always a romantic element. Conan risks his life for Ran generally (or sometimes the opposite) in the movies, he still cares for her, but Ran still does not know Conan=Shinichi or sometimes she sees Shinichi when it's really Conan. And in the movies they encounter murders, exploding buildings, time exploding watches, sinking ships, crashing airplanes, etc. Basically they are there for each other through the thick and thin. I was consider making it either have Action, Romance, and Drama or a combination. But once I figure the story I am trying to convey I have to decide which song I will use which is another problem. I love the song Whisper in the Dark by Skillet, But I am unsure about the combination of Detective Conan and the song. I have been listening to all sorts of rock songs and even Christian songs (They are nice and are rarely used) but I still haven't found a song that would fit this anime. I tried to watch other Detective Conan AMVs for an idea but at the end that was a dead end too. Any suggestions about a Detective Conan AMV ranging from the story, the category, and the song would be greatly appreticiated. I really want this AMV to be good enough to be put into competition.

First off: having a complete collection of an anime doesn't nessecarily mean you need to make an AMV of it. Next off: Secret Agent Man for a humorous/sarcastic video?

I'm not meaning that. Sorry if it looked that way! I bought the movies because the show and the movies rocked and now that I have the movies I can make an AMV, and I have been wanting to make an action/drama/romance Detective Conan AMV for some time now.

Some kind of cool and jazzish music would go with Detective Conan too, I guess...

... or just take Linkin Park. XD
