Interestingly enough, I recognized over half of those pictures because of the intro to the Beverly Hillbillies (BH fanboy here).

Nice weather except for the fires that got out of hand in California.
As for Hollywood, yeah it's pretty but there's sure not a lot of heart in terms of people. As Beowulf said, it can get pretty lonely. It's a money town. Traffic is aggressive too.
