VirtualDub Compression / Vid file too big

Okay so I rendered my AMV as avi file using Vegas 7.0, its 5:01 minutes long. (THE SONG IS 5 MINS LONG) Video format: Huffyuv, Template: Uncompressed, etc

Using Virtualdub, I cropped it, resized it down to 512x384, compressed to XVID,
stream > 192kbps.

Saved it as a new file, right now the file is 185 MB. How do I lower it down to less than 100 MB? lol I'm such a noob -_-"

I tried to render the XVID version on Vegas again as .WMV with
default template. Size : 160 MB

Rendered it again with 256 Kbps Template (WMV) but it ended up being too pixelated (5.0 ish kbps?!) The vid quality was too low. HELP!

compress your audio.

in virtualdub mod do a second pass (XVID) with the target file size lower than 100mb... and compress your audio

I tried compressing the audio and it came out as 183 MB ..

How do I do a second pass? Can you tell me step by step lol

and which file should I open virtualdub? The XVID/AVI file (185 MB)
or the original AVI file? (3.15 GB)

thanks. oh yeah, what does this mean?

i tried to open one of my vid file,
but instead this msged showed up in black screen
warning: nothing to output
bframe decoder lag

b-frame decoder lag message? that means your file is encoded with xvid or divx? i cant remember which...

that screen is only there for one frame, if you move the slider to the right you will see the rest of your video.

either way, didnt you say you had a lossless file?

I've had that message before and I only use avs scripts calling the d2v files of vobs.

Personally, I just ignore it and have never had a problem.
