nothing wrong with wanting more i guess but im not having to much trouble finding an amv to watch that doesn't have the healthy amount of substance I'm looking for.

i think for the starter learning about syncing first is definitely one of the most important concepts. You can get away with anything if its been well presented - thats the way the world works aint it?

Rule 34, is greatly an important one, but majority of AMVs however contradict it.
fix'd

Rules with regard to art are made to be broken.

It's art. Making sense is optional.

I read this earlier today but forgot what most of it said. Just wanted to say I agree with the substance before sync deal. Too many people value "beat sync for the sake of hearing beats" over anything else.

Yeah I guess that's all I have to say.

Money often takes the seriousness out of film.

What does film editing have to do with anime editing? Two of my three roommates are film majors. Despite being (the stereotypical) "pretentious as shit" they have no respect for any of this. (even though one is a confessed fan of, at least one series, eva) I mean, as far as storytelling, in film: don't have a scene? Go shoot it. In AMVs: don't have a scene? Can you make it? No? Oh well, nobody cares, flash some lights instead.

Anyway, thats my only question.
