Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'll get it, but saying you're lazy isn't generally a good advertising strategy. |:

Watch it or don't, but I don't need a bunch of kids commenting about a word I mispelled in the end credits and not commenting on the video itself.

You will get that regardless. Plenty of people here have issues with reading. And even then, there will be people who get the video from other sources and will not have your disclaimer reach them. The best option to avoid such criticism was to make the correction prior to release.

 I didn't ask for your opinion on my person. This is an AMV site. It's for people to watch AMVs. If you don't want to watch it just because you think I'm lazy, then don't. I'm not twisting your arm.

Ya know what, just forget it. I'm no longer interested. Links deleted.

I want to complain something:

So I went to your infopage and saw that you have 4 direct-links. I thought: "Damn! How can someone has 4 different webspaces?". I checked your links and they´re all "indirect-links". Direct links are links that... well you click on them in the videoinfo page and the download starts.
If you want free webspace: Tada! This site offers free space for every amv that doesn´t violate the rules.
Please change all of your links to indirect links to keep the whole stuff correct.

btw
You seam to get pretty fast upset, right?

No accounts get deleted. Ever. The site just doesn't do it. However, uploading your video to the local server is a good idea, if you want it here. People tend to respond better to that. If you don't want to upload them, you can delete your own direct and indirect links, then, no one will be able to get your video and if you don't want to come back, you don't have to.

Also, don't get so upset so quickly, one little letter is minor and really makes no difference in the video itself. If you hadn't mentioned it, it might not have even been noticed.

If you included credits or bumpers, they are part of the video, and are fair game.

I didn't call you lazy, rather it was my opinion you were giving the impression to your possible viewers that you were by offering the fact you are unwilling to correct a misspelling.

You said you were lazy, not I.

I was trying to be helpful and diplomatic, and I offered to watch your video. Then you decided that you didn't like the idea that people might pre-judge your video based on your inability to complete the job, and that it was quite all right for you to shoot the messenger, throw your hands up in disgust, and say "I'm taking my ball and going home."

That's an inappropriate way to behave if you want true constructive criticism.
