Uploading Video From Vegas

I've completed a section of video and want to upload it to, say, YouTube. How do I go about making my video fit for this? If I try just uploading it as I made it, the video ends up 00:00 seconds long.

So, how do I put my video on the internet?

dude.. did you render an actual portion of your video? or did you just render without moving the little Marks on top?

to chuck a bit of ur video up just click and drag over the portion u want (it should become highlited in a different colour. then go file --> render as --> choose file type and click render. then just upload it to wherever u want

y-o-u-t-u-b-e becomes youtube as a default of the forums theres a post on why somewhere but cbf finding it

I'd suggest uncompressed.

I'd suggest uncompressed.

id agree with u for a completed vid, but he siad he only wants to do part of one, so it might be faster to just export as a wmv just so he can look @ it then when the full thing is done do an uncompressed render.

and have you waited long enough for the file to process on there? because in all seriousness it takes a while for that "00:00" time to go away and be replaced with the proper time :/

also how are you exporting (rendering)? do you have the "render loop region" box checked? or are you just attempting to upload the "project file"?
