Export Premiere CS3 with HuffYUV

Post by Toshi.des » Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:47 am

Hi, I can't seem to get Premiere to export in Huffyuv, here are my options:

In the guide it shows it using huffyuv:

Am I suppose to add the huffyuv in a folder in premiere for it to recognize it? if so how would I actually do that, I thought this was already installed when I did the AMVapp install.

Help appreciated.

Under the general section, you have it set to DV.
Dont export to huffyuv out of premiere pro anyways, its broken a lot of the time. Just use uncompressed.

So under general > file type > uncompressed microsoft avi?

When I select that it changes teh compressor to 10-bit YUV(4:2:2 YUV) is that what it should be set to?

No, it should read HuffYUV, or maybe Huffman depending on the version you have installed.

The title of this thread says HuffYUV, Bashar o.o

And the response the OP was replying to that you replied to was telling the OP to export uncompressed - the conversation took another direction.

Well, to answer the original question, it should be General -> File type -> Microsoft AVI, and then you can choose HuffYUV from the codecs list.
