What do you use to edit/recode/remix your audio?

So what's a good Windows program to manipulate audio in ways you just can't in something like Premiere?

What works best/is affordable/sucks?

Soundforge? What else is out there?

CoolEdit is always a good program to use.

CoolEdit when worse comes to worse but generally I edit directly through Studio DV, I can edit MP3's and wave files from it with ease.

For serious audio mixing stuff for both AMVs and non-AMV work (like mixing music) I use Sound Forge and ACID Music, they're not cheap though.
