Vegas can't find clips when I open my saved project?

PatyPunk:.. Come on now, Save up. Right now I'm in the process of saving up for a Hard drive that'll just help me get by (320 GB :O).. you just gotsa save.

It's quite expensive over here in Germany, usually a 100GB harddrive costs about 100€, at least thats the price I usually see it for.

There was something that just came in my mind..

Try to re-install Xvid on your computer, that might work O.o

if anything fails...

Try to save the project as uncompressed or losless file before you close your project and next time you edit, you put that file back into your program and keep on editing..but the suck would be that you wont be able to change anything on that part then..

so try to do all the other stuff before doing that...

That is quite cheap compared to what I've seen..but still too much for me

.. 14 and fighting the Euro-Dollar .. bummer .. ?? how good do Mpeg files look from your Editor? Mpeg is the Video Editors choice of storage from way-back in 1993. I don't know of any Editor that doesn't understand Mpeg. They are fairly small files. fairly clean and might be a good alternative to Divx/Xvid.

i used to use mpeg4 before i learned how to handle huffy/lagarith..

or you can make small clips with no sound in lagarith and that should work. but only take the clips you need, i was doing that on a 60gb hd

Use Lagarith with VirtualDubMod and make clips
saves lots of space. Usually, my clips folder only takes up a GB or so
but i'm also saving for an external (which is cheap) to remove this mallady
