Nope.

But yeah, Malefius is great.
Well, if he had a less complicated name, we might be able to spell it correctly.

An editor that I know still tends to edit with an old school style would be off the top of my head Jestmaster. While I do like fancy effects and videos that take months/years to make it's the simple effect of storytelling using simple editing techniques that really draws me to a video.

Promising editors? Not sure. I think CBR is full of them if they can get off their asses and make videos not using other AMVs as source ^^()
you realize that includes you...

and I RESENT THAT! i have tons of vids using my own sources... i has like 75 of them! then again i have like 115 using other amvs... lol. i plan to get of my ass soon... altho i wont be doing it for amvs tho... i've almost hit my limit... 10 more to go... but yea, you and the others in cbr have much promise... so get off your asses!

seriously though, pick a favorite? Impossible... but if I had to pick somebody that I'm really impressed with currently I'd say Ileia, for a few of her upcoming things I've seen  Oh, and I keep watching Malificus's "Americans" a lot :3

I've searched trough this forum a bit,and found no such thread, and wanted to ask something... :

Who's your favorite editor(s)? And what part exactly you like about his/hers/their editing style?

I'm asking this because maybe after some replies I'll be able to find few new (to me that is) editors, and to watch and enjoy few new AMVs...
I'm still a rookie at this hobby interest so I haven't had a whole lot of exposure. But so far here at the org I tend to enjoy Tyler's videos a whole lot. I love his visual style and the way he used the effects. They are excellently timed. At times though he can go overboard by doing too many too quickly and it can look crammed to someone who is not used to watching alot of AMVs. But for the most part his timing is superb. But like I said, most of alll, it's the visual style with how he edits and uses his effects.

There's so many editors and videos that I enjoy . . . it's really hard to just pick out a couple, as I don't like excluding anyway, but in the spirit of the thread I'll mention two specific editors anyway . . .

Otohiko (for pretty much exactly the same reasons he has me listed as :uhoh: )

and

AtomX (I don't think that there's an editor who has impressed or inspired me more then him. This is for a variety of reasons, only some of which are his videos).
