I actually laughed at this...out loud too. As much as I enjoyed this though it had its issues...I felt a bit more like I was laughing at the song and the little follow along lyrics rather than at the actual scenes you selected. And the text on both the top and the bottom was a tad distracting, and the video quality wasn't anything that impressive. I'd probably give this a 3 out of 5 but nothing higher. Theres not much here editing wise but the song itself is pretty funny, as well as Lights reaction shots. Those are well done. L singing however is poor in most cases...light definitely steals the show with this one.
Anyway, long story short, 3/5

I choose Light for that role because there are a lot of scenes in the anime of him doing angry expression. :\
I didnt know how to explain it till now. If you watched Avenue Q do this on brodway you'd see that it's the opposite situation where the lead puppet "who sings most of the song" is the one grabbing all the attention with it's funny remarks and enthusiasm. Enthusiasm.... L looks depressed 80% of the time...why you thought they would make a good match is beyond me. Thanks to this video, I can't watch death note without thinking of this.
Technical wise, it wasn't bad, but I felt it kind of raped the whole Death Note storyline. ^_^'
Lip sync could have been better.
Personally, it was a nice break from the ordinary horror Death Note AMV, but that's what I like about Death Note videos.
Yet, I digress.
