It's not a rule,or anything. Just that I think that people who've been here for two years have at least shown what they can,and I'm just interested to see how 'newbies'(even though I'm a newbie myself yet) are learning, and progressing.
:D I like laughter ;DD

I think the definition of a "newb" is not about the years or months of editing experience, but more like the matter of hours and the actual amount of time put in editing summed up. I said this earlier in another thread but a "newb" editor (according to the two-year rule) may have put much, much more time on editing than a "pro" editor. The two-year definition kinda assumes people spend the same amount of time on editing on each day and therefore people who have been editing longer have much more experince and "skill"

That was kinda my thought. I don't really fit into the newbie editorcategory because I joined the site four years ago, but I've only done a handful of videos, and aside from the first two (which suck), all within the last year and a half. I've technically been here for years, but I'm still very much a amateur with a lot to learn, and many newer editors have more experience than I do.

As far as favorites though, Sierra Lorna has to be mentioned for me. I'm generally not a fan of effects heavy videos, but she's very good at them, making videos that are fun to watch because of the effects. She's also the only person who's made a SM vid using a lot of attack and transformation scenes that I like--that alone makes her stand out for me.

I'll bite and say Copycat_Revolver, for obvious reasons, JaddziaDax, because I haven't seen a video of hers yet I didn't like and that wasn't original, and Kickass331, because I can.

and my promising editors list is (kinda) short:

Me, Me, Me, Me, Malificius, CrackTheSky, Me, and Lok1990. :|

Who do you think is a promosing editor? I mean from 'new' editors, who have joined in a period of a year to year and a half ago. To be more precise, editors who haven't been here for two years yet. I want to check something new out,and would really like to see few promosing editors.

I've searched trough this forum a bit,and found no such thread, and wanted to ask something... :

Who's your favorite editor(s)? And what part exactly you like about his/hers/their editing style?

<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... _id=759490" target="_blank">Kadaj665</a>

- He is one of those Editors that improved a hella fast. Actually I was the one who showed him the org, teached him Lots about encoding and made him get serious on the org. His Videos are extremly Awesome iin my Opinion and his way of synching and his flow are absolutely awesome and unique, his use of FX is very intersting. There are barely any Editors I adore like him.

<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... r_id=18208" target="_blank">DaCoolGohan</a>

- because his Videos are never a dissapointment for me. While I wouldn't say he is one of the best Editors ever existed or something, I am still a fan of his Videos. I like his Flow and way of synching which totally suits my taste.

He's ma awesome baby :p

My favorites are... any and all editors that make videos that I enjoy. |:>

Same for promising editors.

If you're not on either list, well.. i suggest playing WoW. |:
