cellular phones and anime...
OK, cellular phones are not exactly old, but with anime like G GUndam etc they were imagining space colonies... why didn't they imagine phones?
I notice a lot of "cant find him oops" wheres my phone! And static too, i would r caught up not expect such horrible communications etc. I'm watching G Gundam, they have videophones and multitype data transmission, Domon's partner does research using laptop in the desert (can someone say starband?) yet when they cant find each other... "no service" haha.
Even in evangelion Shinji had a phone. now where is the world going to... and dont forget Ghost in the shell! They had STATIC, sprint built the all nationwide all digital entowrk and there should be no STATIC. And i can't believe color devices and custom ringtones have not ever caught up it anime, or japan for that matter. You can buy soda with the phone but no ringtones.
{/end rant} yet another mistake by those dumb studio heads!

haha...hahaha....HAHAHA......HAHAHAHAHAHA
Um excuse me...have you seen Japanese keitai denwa????
J-Phone and DoCoMo are THE REASON so few Japanese people have personal computers with Internet services.
Perhaps I misunderstood you, but if what you infered was that Japanese cellphones are way behind, I must say you are quite incorrect, it is American cellphones that are in the stone age. This winter Sony will be releasing the first US cellphone that can take pictures. Japan has had that feature for years. In fact the newest feature when I was there this past summer was taking MOVIES with your cellphone and sending them to friends. Their ring features are endlessly customizeable, and can access the wireless internet which is EXTREMELY prominent in Japan.
We're the ones who are lagging.
