OK, I'll turn the joke into a real comment..

we have an amv section

a contest section because that relates to amvs

an anime section because that relates to amvs

a video section because that relates to amvs.

I've no objection to an audio forum as this also has something to do with amvs. Most other things are off-topic. I like cooking but I don't expect for there to be a cookery forum

excellent point

Since we are dealling with AMV's I think even Audio questions should be in the video help area. There really isn't any pure audio editing done for AMV's and any problems one might have could most likely be answered in video help.

maybe not in yours but my last 3 amvs and the current one have all had the original audio edited.

I do agree that audio queries could be answered in the video help forum but I think that once the audio guide is put on the org in a week or so (along with the new video guides) the audio questions may well become more frequent as people become more aware of their audio.

At the moment, people tend not to really give it much thought.

I fully support an audio forum as audio encoding is a broad subject and you know, its said that ugly video is tolerable but audio will make or break a movie

I actually think there should be the audio forum for general audio questions. Just because there are few videos with original or edited audio doesn't mean people don't have questions about it. The different codecs, wavs, mp3s and lack of audio. I think there are plenty of grounds for an Audio forum. As for the othr topics, well those we can do without.

Couldn't audio queries go under 'General Music'? Of course then there's a clutter issue, but there's not a whole lot of posting done in the Music forum anyway.

General music only discusses music, bands and songs. Audio would refer to the technical aspects and not necessarily music.

Could there just be an off-topic forum, where would be art-section, offtopic - section, way of topic - section and all about me - section, and everything not related to videos, music or anime would have a section there? General Disgussion and so on.
