meh, everyone's so serious. I took it more of what I'd be doing had I not been into AMVs like I am. And to be truthful there, I would probably be writing, but my whole current social life stems from being put in charge of an AMV contest for Youmacon, so I guess without AMVs I'd probably be sitting around in my room with no friends all day long...
Yeah, I wouldn't take it back for nothing.

If I wasn't an AMVer... hmm, Well considering that I'm hardly editing as it is... Prolly what I'm already doing. Playing games for the most part. Although If I had never gotten into AMVing I most likely never would have expanded my Anime beyond DBZ (XD).. So I probably couldn't say I'd be watching anime.
So yah.. Probably Playing games/Map making for like Starcraft and WC3 and stuff.

What's funny is that everyone says "I wouldn't! I love all the people I've met!!" But that's not what they asked - they asked about editing, you know, with music and video and stuff. If you took back the time wasted on editing, you could spend more time talking, obviously.
Say I did unmake this pathetic stab at a hobby, for the sake of argument - I'd probably just be wasting more time on the internet, since that's what I'm usually doing in the same timeslot. Whoop-de-do. I think I have all the social life I can handle; most people wear me out pretty fast. And if my primary hobby took up any more of my time and energy, I'd probably have a nervous breakdown.
So. It's pretty much a wash, productivity-wise. I don't think I'd be ruling the world if I weren't making bad videos.

But see, if I'd never edited, then there'd have been very little reason for me to talk to anyone else on here. I didn't even know or try to find out about the "community" of AMV before I started learning to edit. Ergo proxy, if I'd never edited, I'd never have talked to any of you.SarahtheBoring wrote:What's funny is that everyone says "I wouldn't! I love all the people I've met!!" Not living in front of my computer and not seeing the sun for days on end? Whats to take back!
Honestly though, not making videos would not have brought some happyness for a few minutes to a tiny few... Not making videos would not mean I'd end up running AMV rooms for the aenjoyment of fans and meeting more people then I've ever had from all other the world...
As a fun hobby I enjoy it, I'd always end up doing the same thing over and over even if given a choice everytime to change it...

This is the single best argument I've heard for wishing I had done something else with my time...Kitsuner wrote:But see, if I'd never edited, then there'd have been very little reason for me to talk to anyone else on here.
