Hmm, AMVs...A Costly Investment?

wow, sony vegas movie edit isn't even on the online sony shop...so don't purchase software in Chinatown....O_O

But there is Vegas Movie Studio 8/Platinum...

And finally, i noticed Sony Vegas Pro + DVD Production Suite...i think it's vegas with some DVD features

After Effects adds an extra layer of prettys AFTER your done with your video. While you can make an entire video in it, it's not suggested. I'm not sure why though... I'd never gotten into that software. You don't have to have Premiere to use AE just like you don't have to have Premiere to use Photoshop. It does help though ^.^ Yeah, stick with Magix for now -_- you can find trial versions on each program's website though... at least adobe offers them -_-.

. . the only difference between Pro 11 and Pro 12 is "system support" ... that's it.

Pro 11 is aimed at making Video while Pro 12 is aimed at making DVD's.

Also: Please consider WMM? Comes free with computers, and good AMV's can be made with it, as long as the editor can be intelligent.

I also suggest buying DVD's when they get sales. I suggest checking the HEADS UP section every now and then.
