I'll be at the airport at 5......

...in the morning.

It was the only flight out of CA that I could get to make the dinner.

I want to try and get into town about 3pm or so (hopefully beating rush hour traffic), and just plan on hanging out at the mall until my hotel roomies start showing up.

I'm getting in at 5:02pm Thurs pending a lack of lateness. Thankfully it's a direct flight between Milwaukee and Atlanta (ie no dealing with O'Hare)

I was at O'Hare just last week, and they had these little booths where you could set up your laptop and everything.

Fuckers were trying to fool me into thinking they had free wireless.

And the fact that you had to list that as the sole benefit to O'Hare indicates just how awful it is to have to fly through there.

I've never had a problem with O'Hare at all, I've flown into there like 4-5 times in the last two years. (The only small problem I had when flying out, was a flight delay, so I just had to sit and wait :\)

The only time, I find, that you feel the size, is when you're changing airline carriers. If you're flying with the same airline for both your flights (IE: your baggage is transfered), and you leave yourself a normal amount of time to get to your gate, the airport itself is just fine, not confusing or anything, read the signs and you're good to go.
