you know this could be a good bit of .org trivia, including you I can count 2 and the other person never ended up making anything (so i don't remember them :? )

err I forgot to mention if you compress your audio into an mp3 using beesweet and then reattach it to your final video in virtualdub (using direct stream copy) it will also save you space.
new banzors in the making :p

thanks autraya
i was wondering what BeSweetGUI was so i kinda tinkered with it a bit.
When i reattached it with direct stream copy i did notice a compression in file size, so thanks for confirming that for me

wow u guys have a guide for everything....so was it necessary that i installed "cuteFTP"? it was suggested in the upload video section
Yeah, but telling you from experience, CuteFTP (Home and Pro versions) is shareware. It lets you use it for 30 days exactly, before asking you for a serial key. There are other great free alternatives, although if you're gonna buy it, good for you as it definitely is a stellar FTP program

by the way, any other comments on the video? things to fix/touch up on?
if not, then i might try music this time, instead of using just vocals/people talking...

The thing is, we're actually not exaggerating. You're definitely not the first person to make a thread looking for advice on how to make a video, but 90% of the time its "hey what do i use to make a video?!" or "somebody send me a video maker" or something along those lines. And even in those times, we'll usually answer their questions, but soooo often, people either just don't want to take the time to actually read the guides we link them to or just aren't willing to try what we advise. Hence why we give you a lot of credit :)

Also, for compression it is important to not let your editing software do it for you - most built-in compressors are complete crap. You're going to want to export from your editing software losslessly as well and compress in something else (like VdubMod for example).
