whats the differance between Vegas movie studio 8 and vegas movie studio platinum 8?

new at this and trying to get the best for my money.

Platinum prolly Costs like 4 times more and has like 3 more FX.. possibly a smoother layout or something. I still use vegas 5 though

In other words. Platinum is the uber expensive one that like.. professional Movie editors Will probably buy... or the Rich amateur (I have yet to meet one >_>)...and the other one is for the common folk who have 500 dollars lying around (rough estimate.. tell me how close I am)

well hell, you might as well get platinum if you have experience in editing.
