Perfect Blue clips and a couple acceptability questions.
Since the old thread for violence and nudity is 404'ed, have a couple questions on clips I was planning to use from the anime before getting started.
Namely the two big murder scenes where the show producer ends up minus eyeballs in the elevator, and the photographer has a very bad night getting stabbed time and again. More then enough blood splattering to go around in that scene too.
I'm not gonna bother really asking about the nude mima clips cause that's an obvious no go, and I'll cut them out from murder scene #2. But would the simulated rape scene (and the racy little dance before) be acceptable, given it doesn't show anything and mima's still fully clothed?
A couple other spots to come to mind, namely the chase scene near the end, that might cross the violence line. So any guidance on what I should avoid here would be appreciated. Not like it's Elfen lied levels of violence, but still is a bloody anime at times.

In any case young babies are easy, say compared to a mobile two year old. AKA a compact engine of apocolyptic destruction.

I believe these are okay. Likewise, mind the fact that it's sexual nudity that's in question. So nudity by itself is not neccesarily out of question.Scaledkittah wrote: Namely the two big murder scenes where the show producer ends up minus eyeballs in the elevator, and the photographer has a very bad night getting stabbed time and again. Here's a good example of a popular Perfect Blue video that includes the scenes you mentioned, and there's never been any problem with it:
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Way to spoil the movie for me, assmunch. |:Scaledkittah wrote:Namely the two big murder scenes where the show producer ends up minus eyeballs in the elevator, and the photographer has a very bad night getting stabbed time and again. More then enough blood splattering to go around in that scene too.

That didn't spoil the movie. If he was going to spoil the movie he would have mentioned the 'idol mimi' doing the murders is actually the fat manager chick.Kitsuner wrote:Way to spoil the movie for me, assmunch. |:Scaledkittah wrote:Namely the two big murder scenes where the show producer ends up minus eyeballs in the elevator, and the photographer has a very bad night getting stabbed time and again.
