.. Speakers over HeadPhones anyday .. Medium Shag Carpet on the ceilings, floor and walls Padded with 3/8" Insulation to absorb the bounce-off and to allow for dampening of the street noise by cars & trucks three blocks away.

.. HeadPhones often miss things and compress sounds that MP3 Audio will bring-out once encoded. ( i.e. we did an AMV in a friends apartment and missed the sound of a Train running-by in the background ( we thought we turned the MIC off! >_< )
.. through the HeadPhones, we never heard nor felt no train; but at the playing of it on that day at the location, no one missed it -- you .. you don't want to know how quickly we were looking for a place to hide!!

My headphones are busted, so for the moment, Imma be using speakers.

I do it with both - mainly with headphones but i check it out on the speakers when i finish sections.

Yeah, normally headphones. But when I watch AMVs I prefer speakers and most other do as well so you have to keep an ear on how your stuff is synced to the bass which is stronger over speakers and general other differences so I switch from time to time to see what I need to change in my sync to apply some touches for the speaker users.

And I guess that is what most people should do regardless if they prefer headphones or not.

Edit with headphones to spare your loved one's ears.

Always watch your final draft with speakers so you can gauge the levels of your credits.

As soon as my lovely headphones gets here via FedEX (Damn their slow delivery system), I'll be using headphones to edit. I'm about to go into college (end of this school year), and I'll be in a dorm where I'm not going to bug my roommate (because I'm a nice guy). Plus, my parents are getting a little irritated at me for playing music all hours of the night. X_X

Headphones.. Just for the other people sake! I often watch like a 5-second clip of what I have edited many times in a row to see if it's good, and that can be hell of annoying for other people to listen to..
