Another Hand To Touch (Air)

Post by Splitter » Thu Aug 09, 2007 8:02 pm

Lurker for 4 years and I finally got off my lazy bum and figured out how to make an AMV ^_^

This particular AMV, done to the song "Ready for Love" by Cascada, uses the anime Air and does include spoilers. The theme is reminiscence as the AMV is seen through Yukito's, Kanna's and Misuzu's perspectives. Though it is a sentimental piece bordering on sad, I did make it so the show's incredible display of absolute hope rings out.

This is my very first time working on, editing, or submitting an AMV and I can't begin to tell you how exciting the whole process was. I hope everyone enjoys the final result as much as I did.

Awws, unreplied AMV announcements just look way too sad.

I didn't like this video. Sorry. As much I loved Air, I just couldn't bring myself to like this video. It was average on its best, and the quality should have been better..

Your clip selection was somewhat too random. I didn't really notice any solid focus points or scenes. For me it looked like a random montage with characters in different poses. It's cool eye-candy, but I couldn't really connect that montage to the song.

Another thing is your sync. While there was a decent amount of clips and transitions, they weren't placed properly on the beats, and there wasn't nearly enough of them to keep up the fast beat of the song.

Anyways, the content kept me watching it, even if it was random content.. And, you should get rid of the subtitles next time ;) Thanks for your efforts
