The AC Cubed 2007 AMV Contest page is now open for business. If you're interested in entering, please read the rules at http://ac-cubed.ca/amv.php, as they have changed a bit from last year. The only thing that isn't ready yet is the FTP for uploading your entries, so please check back occasionally. The deadline is September 30th, so if you want in but haven't made an AMV for the contest yet, you might want to start now. Thank you for your time.

Oh man, I really hope I can whip something up in time for this. Though I'm really sad I won't be able to attend this year ;_;

I've always thought that your non-traditional judging categories were very interesting.
Makes me wonder if the type the entries you tend to get are different from other conventions'. If I manage to finish something new before the deadline, I'll definitely send it in.

Looks like I did. If some moderator or somebody hadn't fixed that already (whoever did, thank you), I would be doing that now.

Awa is the mascot's name (it's the Japanese word for "bubbles"). We have two mascots, actually; the other one is a catboy named Ota. This con is happening in Ottawa, Canada. Geddit?

I just can't be bothered with any extraneous criteria that tend to be more subjective than the standards already are.

Last year, I got a few predictables (three Naruto, one Linkin Park, one Evanescence) and some very distinctive work (the winner "Marine Land," "Schism of the Epistle to Dippy," "Overture Musica" and "Panda Punk!", among others). Suffice it to say that I'm trying to encourage much more of the latter.
