Importing problems

Hi! I'm very new at all this, so bear with me please!

I have already searched a fair bit on the Forums here and havn't had any luck finding an answer.

I have full episodes that I want to make a movie with, but WMM won't let me import them. It says that I don't have the right Codec to use the epp. the clips full name is: [l33t-raws]Bleach_28_(640x480_DivX5.0.2).[27A4284E]. Now I've read that DivX files are bad, but my comp. says the file type is actually Avi. I can, howver use this:[l33t-raws]BLEACH_58_(640x480_LameVBR_WMV9).[07263FA6].

Is there anyway to use translate the DivX to the WMV type? Or will I have to find other Clips?

If this has been answered before, please link the page to me. The way it's going, I can't make any movies!! T_T

what is the codec of those avi files?

Judging by the way he talked my guess is they are probably Divx or whatever, Seeing as how I got the feeling he got mixed up and thought Divx was a file format.

nevermind they give me the codec... >.<1>compression->Huffyuv

then go to file->save

use those to mark the beginning and the end of the "clips" you want so you can save room[/quote]

You could probably write a simple bot to come in here and post the same things for you you know - since it's the answer to about 90% of the questions you get.
