Anyway, I'm proably going to head towards something in the Azumanga/Fruits Basket/Chobits/Angelic Layer department I know of a really good one in Angelic layer, but I'm not sure if I'm up to the editing.

Well there is a short list of characters to work with in Angelic Layer to begin with, so you really would be doing some editting to get anyone with anyone else.

I'm probably going to stick with my FMP line of thought, I'm just not sure which of the many wrong ideas I have, I want to use.

So we cant use the true pairings from animes? Only pairings that aren't in the anime?

Correct. Implied pairings are ok, as long as they aren't the main focus of the anime. But the idea is to get the more off pairings that aren't in the anime.

For example, lets use FMP as an example:

Sousuke/Kaname is a no, since they are the main "couple" of the series.
Sousuke/Tessa would be borderline.
Sousuke/Mao is a yes

The other thing that was discussed, not only do the couples have to be boy/girl (since there's already yaoi and yuri MEPs), they also have to be human. (Or at least resembling humans. Like the aliens, robots, computers, etc that look like humans. Or mostly human, like cat girls.) He said incest was ok (like Sango/Kohaku in InuYasha), but bestiality is not (like Sakaki/Mayaa in Azumaga) (And yes, I had specifically asked him about all that because those were pairings I was considering before settling on Black Heaven.

And I'll let him get back to you on date related stuff, since I'm not sure what's going on there. But he'll be happy to hear you've chosen Angelic Layer. He was particularly curious to see what you'd do with that. *^_^*

**in case people were wondering about my insight on this, Immorrel is my bf, so you could say we talk on a regular basis. *^_^* And he had asked if I could give him a hand with this since I have more experience with MEPs. So I can't answer everything, since I'm not THAT awesome at reading minds and not everything has been talked about yet. But I at least have a handle on what he wants to do with this, so I can answer some questions.**

If this were to start in the near future it wouldn't be finishing until the December timeframe. I'm going to be in TX, and away from my comp from the end of September until the end of November. Wurpess would be riding herd on this until I got back.

So assuming this started in August, I'd probably be looking for betas in October and finals in December (though I would hopefully have my segment done before I'm gone, so all I'd have to do when I came back is get the finals from everyone and put it all together)
