Real Name - Year Premiered - AMV Title.format

if their real name is not available (and I usually dig around even to their website and in their video credits and on the con contest submission, people really should take REAL credit for their work) then I do:

(org name) - Year PRemiered - AMV Title.format

if it is a collaboration of 2 then I do:

1rst Editor - Year Premiered - 2nd Editor - AMV Title.format
and a blank text file: 2nd Editor - Year Premiered - 1rst Editor - AMv Title (dup).txt

if it is a collaboration of 3 or more I do:

Editor - Year Premiered - various - AMV Title.format
Another Editor - Year Premiered - various - AMv Title (dup).txt
[ ... and so on for the rest of the editors ]

if it's a massively multi editor project I'll just put it in a 'Projects' folder,
if I have a combined file for the whole thing I just put it in and sometimes do .txt files for each segments with a XX numeric prefix on each for order...

Or if I only have segments I'll do the XX numeric prefix and Author - Title.txt

In both cases I'll usually make a .txt in the regular folder with:
Editor - Year Premiered - AMv Title (Proj Acronym).txt

That covers it.

Meh I just have two folders.

One for my work
One for the work of everyone else

Considering I only awtch AMVs by dumping them all into winamp and setting it to shuffle this works pretty well.

You should keep amv's on a disk to save space or for back-up. Space is important when you make amv's, but if you have tons of space put the amvs in one folder that way if you look for a vid you created you just go to that folder to find it.

x2. 'sides, I don't like my real name. Used it a couple of times, but meh.

That's one of the spiffy things about the internet, dude. Everyone gets to sound like a cut-rate superhero for no reason. And it's easier to remember than 57 people named Jason or Jessica (no offense to the J&Js of the world), or Cody and Madisyn these days, I guess.
