Brainstorm with me, if you please...

If this is in the wrong forum or something, I'm sorry. I scoured around tryin and thinkin "Where would this be most appropriate?!". I guess here would be a good place.

Anyway, main topic. What if a-m-v.org had it's own podcast series on itunes? It could have high-ranking people (and by that, I mean staff of the site) discussing ideas for videos, honorable notices/mentions of AMVs, random talk, upcoming cons and contests, maybe some video podcasts where they show some of the honorable mentions AMVs, and maybe giving the audience (us) a chance to give the podcast feedback in a forum or something.

What think you all?

If they promised to make no mentions of any of koops videos, id agree to at least the first show.. if they cannot promise that.. then forget it.

Don't we already have CB-R Radio? And RDSTV/Radio? Neither is run by site admins/mods, and I think they'd be too busy with real life to do that anyway.

Guys, don't start a flame spar. The last thing I want is for this thread to get locked up.

I suppose the administrators could hand pick some people they think would be best for running it.

The admins are busy enough. Either way, I don't see this happening any time soon, every sort of podcast or radio that gets set up eventually dies down and gets forgotten.

eh, we got enough time to write a newsletter.

if a currently running podcast wants to invite one of the mods/admin to a show, they can. rds had a show with phade way back when. i wouldn't be a good guest though, as my voice is soft and low pitched, i'm boring, and i've been out of the amv/contest/convention loop for a while.
