I really enjoyed this video. I looked in the topic and saw the song was by Joan Baez and knew I had to grab it. I thought overall that it was a very beautiful and sad video. I had no problems with the music, but then again I grew up on Joan Baez and musicians like her, so maybe I just have acquired that taste where others haven't. Good job overall.

My reaction probably would have been the same if I were more used to the vocal style.aesling wrote:I really enjoyed this video. I don't blame you, it's rare enough to see any AMVs using that kind of music around here (not as in there are no female vocalists, but more like that entire Pete Seeger/Bob Dylan/Joan Baez stuff is pretty rare on the org) so I mostly just wanted to share my kind of taste. But thanks anyway ^^Prodigi wrote:Yeaaah, I see what you were doing, but the song for me was just too.... uh. I dunno. I like the concept and the editing was decent, but yeh, the song really irks me.
4/5
Glad to hear that there's at least someone that seems to have known the artist before watching this video ;> I tried to use the most fitting scenes to visualize the kind of atmosphere the song is building up and I was worried that these scenes would end up only working for me and for noone else so thanks for proving me wrong I guessaesling wrote:I really enjoyed this video. which is that hip hop like song thats right in the beginning.
I liked it overall, just one thing right in the start you can tell how the black and white feel fits so well, you should have used this more however you used it in the final part only with the "The End" title.
Nice and Simple.

That reminds me I forgot to post in your Dead End release thread, I didn't want to bump it from where it was when I noticed I hadn't yet posted in it sorry, but I probably just would've said what I said about the beta (I liked it overall).CinKrei wrote:Ingows release... i have been absent.

The hip hop beginning is a composition between two Jedi Mind Tricks interludes ("Death Falls Silent" and "Triumph & Agony") And yeah I also would've personally added more black&white but I decided against it because I thought that the video might become too dull for the viewers to watch like that. But I'm glad that you like it :>

nah i meant I just merged two interludes together, which means that it's just two really really short tracks. but if you wanna do an afro samurai vid about every jedi mind tricks track should fit (but the main beat from that interlude you're interested in is from the Legacy of Blood album so you might want to check that out first)CinKrei wrote:that hip hop beat really fits in there, im hoping its a long mix, cant help thinking of an afro samurai video to that song.
