I just found out recently that the director of Silent Hill the Movie will not be directing the second (Yes there will be a #2), he's been given another job of directing a movie to the game series "Onimusha" with a 50ish million dollar budget. I'm expecting some good results

Especially if they incorporate Dawn of dreams into it some how, that game was freaking awesome.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I'm not saying it was a great movie, but it wasn't that bad, especially as far as video game adaptations go. And I'm a huge horror movie fan (no, I don't think they're scary, or even supposed to be), so I guess I'm a little biased. It's not one of those movies that you can just laugh at the whole way through, because there's some reason in most of the character's actions. The story's just a little ridiculous, and the acting is... par. Par for Hollywood. Cinematography and score were great though.

What he said. Silent Hill is the best horror series in gaming because of the atmosphere and they did a good job in attempting to replicate it.Flint the Dwarf wrote:I'm not saying it was a great movie, but it wasn't that bad, especially as far as video game adaptations go. I have extremely high expectations for this game, I'm just hoping the gameplay is as good as the cinematics and graphics. The screenshots are beautiful.
Expected release: 8/12
Hopefully it will finally bring the PS3 out of the hole its been burried in.
