Manga Vids

I searched but didn't see any other topics on this subject. If there are, please excuse me and feel free to lock it.

Earlier in the year I tried to enter an AMV contest with a vid made entirely from Manga. Being new to this, I was surprised when I was told they wanted to view it before allowing it in to be judged. Which is when I did more research, and discovered that vids made from mangas are sort-of a grey area.

I've seen some AMVs that mix manga shots into anime very nicely. But so far I haven't really come across any other vids made entirely of manga. I was just curious what everyone's opinion was. Are manga-only vids AMVs or not? And also if anybody else has made any manga-only vids, because I'd love to watch some.

There are several floating around here and there. To the best of my knowledge they are locally hosted which means the org at least considers them amvs.
