you shouldnt upload coppywrited material to the tube site it violates their terms of service
Thank you it worked. I jsut had to press "Render as" Also, how can you tell if its copyrighted? I am a noob at this stuff. Because I see a lot of anime related stuff, and I dont get how to rip my DVDs onto the computer....
uploading anime does not dis-obey there TOS,if you read the "whole" thing,you will notice it says something about you can upload shows or anything like that as long as you changed it around and added things to it,as long as its different you can upoad it,and thats way of the words they said,i cant think of what it actually said,but its basically saying "you can upload anime as long as you formed it into your own AMV"..

or did a company in japan produce it?

did you create the music yourself?

unless you made it yourself (everything, including the actual animation/video footage you are using... filmed it, animated it, hired the voice actors, ect) then more than likely your sources are coppywrited by someone other than you...

O.o

according to the the tube tos, you are supposed to own the coppywrites to all of your sources in your videos, if you dont own the coppywrites to distrobute the anime images you and the music you are using (and no owning the DVD/CD doesnt count as owning the coppywrite) then you arent supposed to upload it to their servers...

alot of people upload them anyways sometimes knowing/sometimes not that its against the youboob TOS...
Ok, well I definitally broke the TOS :lol:
If you noticed about 80% of utube has broken the TOS,wich even though it is allowd to have amvs on as long as you created them into your own video,but still about 80% of youtube has broken their TOS

but im offtopic,bu i just thought id like to state that..

I thought it was due to the Japanese animé companies complaining about unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, not due to DMCA violations.

So basically, with that account and that address, YouTube is saying that ALL copyright infringements that happen on their site fall under the DMCA?

personally i think its a scare tactic more than anything... either way its gone off topic... yes its the anime companies complaining = the videos get taken down weather its "DMCA" or not (why are we arguing semantics?)
~~~~
but on a related note: with the way the tube site works people are spreading rumors that its a "select group of supposedly racist asians claiming that only asians should watch anime..." so they are supposedly going around reporting videos with anime in them... which i think though remotely possible, not very plausible...
youtube wasnt made for anime episodes, AMVs, Fanvideos, Television clips/full shows, ect.
it was however made for home videos, and people who would like to share those home videos.
