But when useing the sites search eng, is there anyway to search by "hits" or by "comments"

If you don't see "Opinion Count" on the list of Order By options on the Super Search, then it's probably a donator option.

I see the opinion count and the hits count but id like to know if there's anyway to search by those counts

No, I said the <i>option to order by</i> opinion count (there is no such option for hits). Here:

If you mean you want to search for specific ranges of opinion counts (like, return all videos with over 30 opinions), then the answer is no.

Also, searching by hits is pointless. Log out and keep refereshing on a video info page... the hits keep going up. It becomes a useless rubric.
