I haven't made a video since the AWA Pro deadline in 06 passed. Things just don't add up like the used to or something. Don't know if its downtime or just my time yet so I shouldn't really be posting.

for me the amount of downtime depends on the idea's I have. If I have no solid ideas (like right now ;_;) then I don't edit anything. :\

I guess I'm the only one that seems to have a kinda sorta set pattern?

I guess we're not as good with deadlines as you. I for one don't have deadlines for any personal projects, so of course there can't be a pattern.

I don't know, I wish I worked like clockwork and had the degree of self-discipline to control my downtime, but when it comes to hobbies... I don't know, I think a lot of those among us who aren't overly-hardcore about editing may prioritize other things over it. I know I do. Like, a lot of things. Though I think it's true for a lot of people that downtime = being burned out on editing, in my case (and I'm not alone in this), downtime is 5% being burned out, 10% school/work, and 85% my other hobbies and distractions.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I think it's more of a case that once we get through all our other distractions, work, and school commitments, and we finally have spare time, the last thing on our minds is editing, because we just want to go nuts in the short space of free time we have.

It usually doesn't take me long to go from finishing one amv, to starting the next. With that said, ever since I've started putting more than a few measly hours into an amv, I tend to take more downtime during a project than between a project.
