Sammy got his journal removed from the Recent Journals list, why can't kickass331 be banned from the Announcements forum?

I personally don't like having to go through the forum trying to find the threads that <i>aren't</i> his, which really does become an issue when he's posting at least one video or more a day.

if you feel he's clogging up the amv announcement forums, explain your point of view and ask him to be more considerate.

to me, it's not flaming but borderline flaming. he insists to post his smartass remarks eventually irking us all. plus when someone posts implying they don't like it, he starts to whine about how great it is and that they don't know what they're talking about.
(i've seen this in a few of his threads)

and even worse, it's a bit disrespectful that he thinks he can conjure up a masterpiece with the works all in one day. (or less)
he's stated that he refuses to spend alot of time on a video and i think that's partly what's fueling most of our aggression.
it's one thing that he thinks it's so simple but when they're bad and statically immprove, it just makes him the perfect target.

I spent the last 2 days on this AMV, and this is the one I was supposed to spend a week on, so I have it, as it is sunday... It is Okay, effects kind of suck, they hurt my eyes a little, the scenes are totally random, they don't make any sense... There's no theme or story or whatever, the quality is so-so, the audio is strange due to the emphasis I put on it, hurts my ears a little.. The filesize is a little large, but you know I don't care... Basically the AMV I would give a score of 5 or 6 out of 10, maybe lower... But you know, who cares really 0_0

So if you knew all this then WHY THE FUCK DID YOU RELEASE IT? Good fucking god, when you were a kid the walls in your room had lead paint didn't they? I realize that your EEG is a flatline but come on, this is a fairly simple concept to understand. I'm going to teach you a rule about AMVs that you should definately follow. Now the rule is so simple I'm sure even a chimpanzee could be trained in this in a couple days so there's a slim chance you might be able to grasp this.

If you think it sucks then don't release it. That's it. That's the magic rule to make everyone lives happier. If you know it sucks then keep it to yourself. Your assignment for the day is to write this out 100 times until you finally, at long last, understand it.

Once you manage to figure this out we'll move on to the next lesson. Which is 'if you don't think it sucks then you're wrong' but right now that's probably a bit beyond you.

And just so you can do a little advance study if you're so inclined, rule 3 is to go back to all your previous threads and actually read and follow the advise people have given you.
